Ain't Misbehaving takes on new meaning at Muttini Mixer
Posted on March 24, 2010
Have you ever been to one of those parties where you have trouble balancing a martini glass in one hand and grabbing hors d'oeuvres with the other? Try adding a leash with a happy dog on the other end, and you will have an idea of the fun that 200 partygoers had at the 4th Annual Muttini Mixer sponsored by the Delaware Humane Association on Saturday, February 20th.
No misbehaving occurred as the owners, with drinks in hands and bedecked companions by their sides, strolled the Delaware Center for Horticulture building, meeting and greeting new and old friends.

Treats and water bowls were in abundance, and the silent auction items were dog themed. Most took to the snow covered grounds for an occasional break. Martini shaped biscuit favors were handed out as guests reluctantly left for the night.
The Muttini Mixer raised $14,000 for DHA. Kudos to the members of the Special Events Committee who made this event possible. Diane Skipski (Event Chairperson), Marie Gillespie, Jennifer Karahul, Jean and Paul Stofa, Keith and Maryellen Hassett, Mary Ann Marshall, Deb Grandizio, Don Swadey, Rama Aravind, Debra Radcliff, Margie Horisk, Dawn Becker, and Sandy Leigh.
