Celebrate the 5th Annual Delaware Week for the Animals with DHA

The 5th Annual Delaware Week for the Animals, presented by Animal World USA, kicks off on Saturday, April 14, 2012 and will conclude the following Sunday, April 22nd. Throughout the week shelters, rescue groups, humane organizations, and individuals throughout the state will be hosting animal-related special events and planning activities to celebrate and help animals. 

DHA is joining the festivities with two events this Saturday, April 14th:

• A Wellness Clinic providing low cost vaccinations, microchipping and New Castle County dog licenses will be taking place from 1 to 3 pm at the Concord Pet Foods & Supplies store in Chestnut Run Shopping Center in Wilmington.

• Our first Playtime at the Beach "doggy happy hour" of the season will be taking place from 12 to 3 pm The Seafood Shack in Rehoboth Beach.
