Special event to honor Marsha Lee

The Brandywine Hills Community Association, in conjunction with Mayor James Baker and the City of Wilmington, cordially invites you to attend a very special event on Monday, May 14, 2012 beginning at 5 pm to honor the life and memory of Marsha Lee.

On this date and time at the corner of East Matson Run Parkway and Whittier Road, the City will designate the one-block portion of Whittier Road where Marsha lived with her family as"Marsha Lee Way."

Please join us for this ceremony which will include Marsha's family, clergy and members of her synagogue, current and former neighbors from the Brandywine Hills Community, her human and animal colleagues from Delaware Humane Association, the Mayor and other City officials, and representatives from the Wilmington Police Department and the Delaware State Police.

Following the ceremony, we invite you to join us in a walk around the neighborhood with your dog to remember Marsha's love for animals and her work with DHA.

The ceremony honoring Marsha will be held rain or shine.
