Delaware Humane Association's new event had tails wagging

Wags, Whiskers & Wine was a new event for DHA in 2012—a very special dog-friendly casual cocktail party for animal lovers who support DHA which took place on June 8th at Nassau Valley Vineyards in Lewes, DE. The event was held in lieu of this year's Walk for the Animals at the Beach.

People and dogs gathered outside in the Bacchus Grove under a canopy of 40 year old Sycamore trees overlooking the vineyards. For a first time event it was very successful, great weather, fun crowd, lots of people and dogs, delicious food and wine. We are already looking forward to doing it all over again next year!
