Philanthropy and fun go hand in paw at Playtime at the Beach

Garrett Chang won $145 in the 50/50 Raffle at DHA's Playtime at the Beach in the Beir Garten at The Purple Parrot Grill on July 21st, and generously turned around and donated his winnings to DHA. Thank you, Garrett, and all of the friends and supporters who turn out for these fun events, and special thanks to DHA volunteer Carl Armideo for making it all happen!

DHA's Playtime at the Beach "doggy happy hours" bring together animal lovers and their dogs to socialize at several restaurants and bars in Rehoboth Beach and raise money to support the animals at DHA. In addition to individual donations, a portion of the proceeds from each Playtime are donated to DHA, so you can show your support just by joining us and having a meal or a drink for a good cause!

The next Playtime is coming up on Saturday, September 8th from 4 to 7 pm at Hobos, and one last get-together on Saturday, October 13th from 4 to 7 pm at The Seafood Shack. Please make plans to join us at one or both events!
