Yappy Hour pool party will put the fun in fundraising for DHA's Walk for the Animals

The Christiana area Hilton is supporting DHA's Walk for the Animals
by hosting the first annual Yappy Hour Doggie Paddle Swim at the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana on Sunday, September 30th from 1 to 4 pm, rain or shine.
Dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes are welcome to participate in a
doggie swim in the outdoor pool! The afternoon's festivities will
include a best swimsuit contest (for dogs only), activities for canines
and their humans, and raffles with prizes to be won. Wholesome and
delicious dog hors d'oeuvres will be prepared and served by the Hilton's
award-winning culinary team.
Entry fees are $10 for your first dog and $5 for each additional dog.
Humans may attend free. Dogs must be dog friendly and people friendly.
No reservations required.
"The Christiana Hilton is the most pet-friendly hotel in the area and
our team really loves animals. We asked our associates what we could do
to help give back to the community. The response was overwhelmingly in
favor of supporting the Delaware Humane Association. It is going to be a
great way to close the pool for the season. Everyone agrees – this is
going to be a lot of fun!"
100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Delaware Humane Association in support of
Tails Around the Tower, DHA's 22nd Annual Walk for the Animals.
