Walk in the St. Patrick's Day Parade with DHA!

We will be walking shelter dogs in the 38th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Downtown Wilmington again this year. DHA volunteers, adopters and supporters are encouraged to show your Irish spirit and love of animals by walking along with us, with or without your dogs!

A new route and post parade party has been announced for this year’s parade, which begins at 12 noon on March 16th. To find us, just look for the DHA van at the traditional staging area between 2nd and 4th Streets on King Street.

The parade will proceed north on King Street as it has in the past. However, the parade will turn left on 15th Street to Market Street, past its traditional end spot at the church, and conclude at 14th and Market streets near H. Fletcher Brown Park.
