Support DHA while promoting your business--become an event sponsor
One way companies can help us is by becoming an event sponsor, in-kind donor, media sponsor, or prize donor for our primary fundraisers. Becoming a DHA event supporter means you or your organization can show your commitment to animal welfare to thousands of individuals throughout Delaware and neighboring states who support our events.

Our numbers for 2015 are in!
We started our year by getting comfortable in our new animal care center, and it was challenging at times. But I could tell that things were working out, and that we were doing great things for the animals. My feelings were right, and when I saw our final numbers for 2015, I was elated!

Your old ride can help save lives
DHA is looking for donation of a gently used, large SUV that we can use to help transport animals to and from events, pick up large food donations, and more. You will be able to write off the value of your donation for tax purposes based on the current "Blue Book" value.

Animal control in Delaware to undergo changes in 2016
Beginning on January 1st, the Division of Public Health's Office of Animal Welfare's Delaware Animal Services (DAS) enforcement unit will provide animal control services to New Castle, Kent, and Sussex counties. This will consolidate all animal law enforcement services into one statewide unit. DAS will also take over dog licensing, which was previously handled by County staff. With the launch of DAS, a new website will provide the State's first Lost and Found Pet Registry.
