Happy birthday to us!
Today, we celebrate Delaware Humane Association's 59th birthday! Since 1957, DHA has been helping to connect people to animals (at the beginning, more than just cats and dogs). We are thrilled how far we have come since our days in New Castle working out of a field and old dog houses.

Look what I found on my desk this morning...
When I found this note on my desk, I thought you should see it too. It's from Debra Radcliff, our Director of Operations here at Delaware Humane Association. She's worried about all the puppies and kittens we took in this spring. We're both worried about properly caring for the additional animals we'll rescue today, tomorrow and all summer long.

Join us for the first annual Pets in the Park event at Glasgow Park!
This will be a FREE family event presented by Concord Pet Foods & Supplies. Pets are encouraged to join you for a day of fun! This family-friendly event will feature Dock Dogs from Blue Buffalo, dozens of manufacturers, local rescues (like us!), local veterinarians, food, entertainment and much more on June 11th!

Have a ball for a good cause at WJBR's Pet-A-Palooza!
99.5 WJBR is a family friendly radio station and when they say family, they mean the entire family, even the four legged members! Bring your leashed pets and join us at the first ever WJBR Pet-A-Palooza on June 12th!
