Dog Obedience Training
Imagine a happy, well-trained dog lying quietly at your feet while
you relax at home...or running happily back to you at the dog park when
you call. Whatever your goal is for you and your fuzzy friend, dog
training classes can help your faithful companion live up to his full
potential as man's best friend!
Using gentle training methods based in
science and learning theory, you can get help with teaching your canine
basic manners or assist in resolving behavior problems.
Basic dog obedience training courses are sponsored by Delaware Humane Association in
partnership with Playtime
Doggie Daycare, and are taught in group format by a certified professional dog
trainer from Positive
Results Dog Training. All classes are taught using "positive
reinforcement" techniques and gentle training methods, so training is
fun and stress-free for you and your dog. Classes are limited in size to
maximize your dog's learning experience and to allow the trainer to
provide personalized instruction.

Pup Scouts
|
Looking for classes for a puppy younger than four months of age? Look no further than the new "Pup Scouts" program, which replaces the "Puppy Kindergarten" classes! This proactive program seeks to build confidence and real-life skills for the young puppy and focuses on socialization, prevention and early intervention to help prevent future behavior problems. Education and skill-building are made fun and easy through conceptual lesson plans. Prevent problem behaviors from developing with this innovative, proactive program.
|
|
The program offers rolling admission and a modular format. These
unusual features allow you to start classes at any time after completing
an orientation session (which can be done in a private setting, if
desired). Attend sessions on those topics that are important to you, in
any order, and at different days, times or locations as your schedule
permits, or attend six, eight or ten weeks in a row at the same time and
location—your choice!
To register and obtain class schedules, please visit the Pup Scouts page on the Positive Results Dog Training website or call (302) 761-9125.
