Help Support DHA
For over 50 years, the Delaware Humane Association
has operated as a private, non-federally funded nonprofit organization
serving the tri-state area and beyond. DHA has provided temporary homes
for tens of thousands of homeless and
abandoned cats and dogs over the years.
While in DHA’s care more than
two thousand animals every year receive food, shelter, medical care, and
lots of love and attention during their stay. DHA is a no kill shelter that does not euthanize animals to make room
for others; they are cared for until suitable homes are found for
them.
DHA's programs are funded with support of the community in the form of
private donations, fees-for-service, grants, and fundraising events. Please donate today and help us continue to provide quality services and fulfill our mission. We appreciate
