Preplanning the care of your pets will give you peace of mind, ease the stress on your family, and ensure that the needs of all those closest to you are met.

Many of us have experienced the painful loss of someone close to us and the complicated task of making sure that all of the belongings cherished by our loved one are properly taken care of. Most people have the foresight to designate in their will the heirs of their assets and tangible possessions, but often they don’t think to make provisions for their pet. This can create difficulties as family members try to determine who will be responsible for the faithful companion left behind.

Preplanning for the care of our pets can help eliminate unnecessary stress for our families at a highly emotional time, and will also make our wishes clear and more likely to be followed.
