Tails Around the Tower, DHA's 23rd Annual Walk for the Animals, will be taking place on
Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. This year we will again be gathering at our new location, Rockford Park in Wilmington, DE.
The Walk for the Animals is DHA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and proceeds support our mission as it is carried out throughout a four state area. The approx. one-mile walk around the park by dogs and their people is just one part of this event—a festive atmosphere, music, refreshments, pet-friendly vendors, pet contests and more round out the day and make it a perfect family outing.
